Our project explores four key prototypes that tackle plastic pollution from multiple angles—ranging from biodegradable packaging to educational workshops. By combining these approaches, we aim to create a holistic strategy that benefits local communities, businesses, and the environment.
“Replacing single-use plastics with biodegradable materials not only curtails landfill waste but also promotes greener consumer behavior.”
“Mobile solutions help people see their daily impact and make small, consistent changes that add up to big results.”
“Accessible, well-labeled recycling stations make it easier for everyone to do the right thing and keep our streets cleaner.”
“When communities are informed and empowered, they’re more likely to adopt—and sustain—eco-friendly habits.”
By deploying these four prototypes together, communities can address plastic waste upstream (with better materials and design) and downstream (with improved disposal and education). This comprehensive approach nurtures a culture of sustainability, minimizes reliance on single-use plastics, and paves the way for long-term environmental health.
